We’re the Kelleys of Raleigh, NC. We’re designing an intentional life for our family that incorporates adventure.
On this site, we like to write about how we make a life of adventure possible, even when family, career, financial, and other pressures may make the possibility appear slim.
We share our passion for microadventures, little weekend trips here and there.
We also enjoy sharing our more epic adventures, like living a year in a foreign country, thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail, biking across America, and RVing across America. We hope our experiences and advice on these life-changing adventures will motivate you to take your own.
The best way to keep track of us on our adventures is to sign up for our email updates.

This is very bittersweet to me. I am very happy for all of you, to be taking such an adventure, but I don’t get to play with your wonderful little babes for at least a long time! I have to remind myself of what I told Jane–we will see each other again! Thank you for sharing Jane and Wilson with me. The best job I ever had!!!!!

Katie,
My mother (your aunt) sent me the link to your adventure today. Sounds like a wonderful trip and a fantastic way to bond with your beautiful family.
Tell us if you are planning to come back through the San Francisco area. If so, we would enjoy hosting you all for a few days. Mark is free to kick as many of our squirrels as he wants?
If you Google my name Gerard Zell my team website will pop up with my contact info. Email me if you can fit us in.

Hello,
Your adventures are just up our alley. We would love to become a destination for your adventures! We are currently constructing a 300-mile hiking trail that goes from Cumberland Gap to Chattanooga! This trail follows the eastern escarpment of Tennessee. Most people do not know about it, and I am working on changing that because it is amazing! Hope to see you on the trails.

Thanks for the note, Brittani. Sharing the link here for others to find: cumberlandtrail.org
