While camped in Wall, South Dakota, we made the two hour drive to visit Mt. Rushmore on a day trip.
Not a whole lot to say about Mt. Rushmore. It’s four presidents on a hill in South Dakota.
We arrived about nine o’clock and were back on the road by noon, having walked the short trail that passes under the monument, visited the interpretive center, and earned a junior ranger badge.
