Amber waves of grain.
We had a weekend layover in Great Falls, Montana, making our way from North Dakota to Glacier National Park.
We didn’t expect much from the stop, and so we were pleased to find a pleasant state park, Giant Springs State Park, stretching several miles along the banks of the Missouri River.
Much of the park was dedicated to interpretive exhibits of Lewis & Clark, in which our kids have zero interest, but we also got to visit a trout hatchery and hydroelectric dam on the river, which were more their speed.
Here are our photos from our weekend in Great Falls.
