So as Jane and I were going for a walk yesterday, we noticed the maintenance people out in full force at the apartment complexes. Spring has sprung, and they were diligently getting flower beds ready, fertilizing the grass, sprinkling poison, and placing foot long black tubes around the perimeter of the apartment’s gate.
We decided to take a closer look as we’d never seen this practice before.
Low and behold, after reading what was written on the side of one, Jane popped her head up, eyes wide and said “They’re tarantula traps! It’s tarantula season.” I checked the side of the tube as well. She was right and confirmed with the man sprinkling poison. And here we thought Chilean’s didn’t celebrate Halloween. EEEEAK!
