After choir practice on Saturday, we biked to a festival in Vitacura at Lo Matta cultural center. This is the same place where we attended the piano and strings concert. The festival included live music, crafts, games, food vendors, and a petting zoo. It was like a fall festival at home in October, but it’s the opening of spring here. The event was sponsored by Creado En Chile, which is the only place Katie has found suitable 100% Pima cotton pajamas for purchase Jane was in heaven with the bunnies in the petting zoo. The kids met some Chilean kids who speak English and some who didn’t speak English. We also had a chance to meet up with another family from the U.S., which made for a fun time as we got to swap stories about our experiences in Chile.
