Our beloved bikes are sold. We couldn’t figure out a low-hassle way to carry them south on our roadtrip, and with the kids loving their skateboard and rollerblades, we decided to sell them.
My bike and Mark’s bike went to a mother and daughter. The mom texted me after they picked them up and told me her 13 year old cried tears of joy over getting the bike. It made me so happy.
Jane’s bike went to a little girl for her Christmas gift and Wilson’s bike is awaiting pick up.
Riding our bikes each Sunday in the CicloRecreoVía was a Santiago highlight for sure. They brought us many good memories and only one injury ;). We will remember them with love and hope they serve their new owners well.
