As we wound down our 16 days in Puerto Varas, we tended to spend time exploring the town and playing on its lake beaches. Without any beach toys, floats, or other items, there wasn’t much to do on the beach. We found a lot of fun in simple activities. Wilson and I threw the baseball. We searched for treasure at the bottom of the lake, finding a bouncy ball and an anklet. And as a family we held a contest to throw pebbles into a trashed gelato cup we found on the beach. Whoever landed ten pebbles in the cup won.
