As most boys do, Wilson loves trains. So when we were in Portland we had to take a (free) trip to the Oregon Rail Heritage Center.
It was hot. 101 and radiating off the black asphalt. This is an open air exhibit so that didn’t help much. On cooler Saturdays you can actually take a $5, 45 minute ride to and from a local park on an actual, open air, steam engine. Sadly due to the heat, they had stopped the rides on the day we visited.
Despite the heat we all really enjoyed our time visiting this center and highly recommend it!
