Well it’s official. The kids have reached a major milestone and I’m equally thrilled and stumped.
They can play at the museum, playground, or park unassisted.
I just stand there and make sure no one breaks anything or cries.
I seriously don’t know what I’m supposed to do.
Am I that mom that starts doing squats or wall push ups trying to squeeze in a quick workout?
Do I just stand there and watch them play sweetly?
Do I phone a friend?
Do I bring a task like my laptop?
It feels so strange. Strange and wonderful.
