We’ve mentioned our love for children’s museums on this trip. So when we saw that the Virginia Discovery Museum was hosting a “Boo Bash”, we knew we had to attend.
It was a kid perfect party. The event lasted from 6-7:30pm. Both Jane and Wilson were so excited they could barely stop from squealing all the way there.
They had little games for all the kids, like pin the tail on the black cat, bowling for ghosts, and a ring toss on a witch hat. There was a spooky mad scientist lab where you could make slime and a magic potion. Members of the symphony were there playing spooky songs. They even had a spider web obstacle course!
You won tickets for every game and then traded them in for non-candy prizes at the end of the night. Jane came home with an awesome light up ring!
It was just the low sugar, simple fun that’s enough to excite my kids without a crash at the end of the night.
