Our family is fortunate to belong to the oldest organized deer hunt in North Carolina, the North State Game Club. More than a century in existence, the club has rich history and traditions in hunting deer with hounds.
At an annual cleanup, my brother was given a copy of a collection of documents, North State Places and Names and Memorabilia, which I digitized and am publishing here for posterity.
