Liz, This was an involved process. In short, no, you need two appts. One with a doctor for a checkup to get prescription for the vaccination, and then you have to go to a different place for the vaccine. We were able to accomplish this at Red Salud in Punta Arenas, but it took several attempts. Once we had the doctor approval, getting the shot was a breeze. Out of pocket for four people, it was over $1,000 USD, which caused some stunned reactions among the staff.
