Absolutely. The Rapa Nui entry form crashed on us more than once. That was nearly two years ago, but it sounds similar to the issue you had. We had to be very deliberate to finally get four forms completed. We never used auto-fill form data, as that caused an issue. We never stayed on a screen for too long, as that seemed to be an issue. At the same time, we wouldn’t move to fast, as there are behind the scenes processes happening that jammed up. And we never used the BACK button, as that stalled the app. Even then, sometimes the submissions would simply fail after submitting. I don’t have a definite solution, except clear the browser if it fails, move deliberately (not quickly) through the form to give form field validations a chance to process, and only input data manually (without form fills). Hope this helps.

I am heading to Rapa Nui early next month and trying to fill the online forms, they are so glitchy! First I couldn’t input my nationality nor document type and now it is saying I’m staying there too long (I’m there 3 nights!). Was wondering if that’s the sort of errors you were finding?
