A Visit from Uncle Pete

img_5275Peter is my youngest brother. He prides himself of being able to annoy and aggravate me better than anyone else.

But we really love each other.

He spent a good amount of his San Francisco vacation visiting with us while we were there. The kids were thrilled. They LOVE their Uncle Pete.

This weekend he came for a visit and wins the prize for being the first and only person who has come and camped with us!

We didn’t have room in the Airstream for 6’5″ Uncle Pete, so he had to sleep in a tent beside the trailer. He hasn’t slept in a tent for over 15 years, and he got the full camping experience when he pretty much froze his buns off through a cold and windy night.

Despite the cold night and days, we all had a great time having a tailgate dinner at the local family drive-in movie theater to watch Hotel Transylvania and picking pumpkins at a really festive farm outside Winchester, VA.

We love you Uncle Pete!
