Cherry Picking

Have you ever seen a cherry tree? With cherries growing on it? Have you ever picked them? I hadn’t. My kids have been tomato picking and strawberry picking. They know that fruit grows on trees and veggies grow in a garden, in the ground. But to see this and experience picking your food is something that I think is really important for little minds.

I was so excited when we were driving to Glacier and we passed so many cherry farms. I begged Mark to stop so that we could go cherry picking. We found a U-Pick and picked a 5lb bucket of cherries for $5! It was fun and delicious.

    Hello,

Harvest is over and I finally have time to see if that family doing all the national parks have a blog. I found it! Thanks for including us on your Adventure. We are honored.

    Peace

Hi Hank, thanks for the Flathead cherries. The cherries were great, and the picking experience let us cross one off my wife’s bucket list.
