As you can imagine our first day out was rough.   With poorly organized packs we only made it 6.2 miles the first day.  Camping at the base of long creek falls.  Beautiful first night!!!   Our second day was much better as our packs were feeling better.  We got 10 miles in when we made it to Justice creek.  After making some din din we got right in bed and got some sleep.  The next day was a bit longer and for some reason more grueling than the second.  Our feet and bodies are def. felling the stress.  We made it 11 miles this Wednesday.  As we arrived at Lance Creek we were welcomed by a full campsite.  :(.     We then trekked almost a mile to the top of a mountain where we finally got to set camp.   The food has been awesome.  We decided to go with quinoa and lentils for choices.  As well as summer sausage and pepperoni stick.   We also brought a bunch of seasoning packets like taco, chili, mushroom and beefstew to mix in.  So dinners have been pretty nice. 🙂

We had rain start last night and continuing into this Thursday morn.  We are sitting it out for the rain to start to slow.   Should be heading out to cross blood mountain by 12 ;).

That’s all for this post catch yA on the next one.

And remember the one with the most stories at the end WINS!!!!!
