Go for it Joanne. Taking the trail a bite at the time is admirable, though if you can make a 6 month break from work happen, I encourage you to attempt the thru-hike. Happy trails.

I want to hike the trail for my 50th. This made a lot to sense. I don’t know if I can take the time to do it all at once. Work gets in the way. So I think I will start like you eat an elephant.. One bite at a time.
